EdTerp Student Ambassador Program

The EdTerp Student Ambassador Program is a selective program in which are chosen through an application and interview process. We seek students from diverse backgrounds who are enthusiastic about the College of Education and demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership skills. The mission of the EdTerp Student Ambassadors Program is to share the College of Education experience with prospective students and their families to provide them with valuable insight. Student Ambassadors represent the College of Education at various events throughout the year including Discover Maryland Day, Maryland Day, and Admitted Student Open House. Additionally, student ambassadors serve as special event assistants and encouraging role models.

If you are a current UMD COE student and are interested in the program for the 23-24 Academic Year, please by 5pm on Monday, August 21st.

Looking to be a Peer Advisor instead of an EdTerp Student Ambassador for the College o Education? Click here to learn more! Peer Advisors have the opportunity to become involved in the College of Education as they intern in the Office of Student Services for five hours a week and can earn up to six academic credit hours. They also work to support and create community events for current students in the college.
