Kayla Bill is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership and an affiliate with the Maryland Equity Project. Her research uses mixed methods to study the politics of equity-oriented 含羞草研究所 reform and prominent policy issues in 含羞草研究所. Her current work focuses on the politics of school desegregation efforts; the implementation of various policies stemming from ; and promising strategies for recruiting and retaining a diverse, high-quality teacher workforce. Kayla earned her Ph.D. in Education Policy from the 含羞草研究所 in 2023. She also holds an M.S. in Kinesiology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from Syracuse University.
